Kayak Fest 2018 – what happened
If you have never attended a KASK forum before, Kayak Fest is a national event to up-skill and have fun with other kayakers. The KASK Kayak Fest 2018 was held at Ngatitoa Domain, Mana, over the weekend of 2 – 4 March 2018. It was a glamping weekend, with showers, catering, and covered areas for eating and socialising available at the local Sea Scouts hall.

26th annual KASK New Zealand Sea Kayaking Forum – promised to introduce you to new places, all contained in a small area.
KASK Kayak Fest 2018 was at Ngatitoa Domain, Mana, Wellington, which is located at the confluence of the Pauatahanui Inlet, Porirua Harbour and the Plimmerton Harbour. It was held over the weekend of 2 – 4 March 2018. There were classes for learning new skills, polishing up on those already learned or could go with a group to the nearby Mana Island reserve.
The registration fee was $225.
Registration included a campsite spot for your tent on the Friday & Saturday nights, plus all meals and sessions. The accommodation was back to basics – you needed to bring your own camping equipment, sleeping bag, etc.
